Sugar Butter Bakes provides (i) locally prepared baked goods (through Hotplate and other local services), and (ii) digital baking kits, recipes, and educational resources for purchase and download. All products are intended for personal use only and may not be redistributed, resold, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.

2. Digital Products

  • Digital products (recipes, printables, kits) are delivered electronically after purchase.

  • All sales of digital products are final. No refunds or exchanges will be granted once the product has been delivered.

  • You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Food Products

  • Our baked goods may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to dairy, eggs, wheat, nuts, soy, and gluten.

  • While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free kitchen or cross-contact prevention.

  • By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept this risk. Sugar Butter Bakes is not liable for any adverse reactions, illness, or injury that may occur.

4. Educational Kits (STEM + SEL)

  • Sugar Butter Bakes baking kits and educational resources are designed for family and homeschool use.

  • Adult supervision is required for all child participants.

  • These kits are not intended as certified curriculum, medical advice, or therapy. They are enrichment activities only.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, including recipes, images, PDFs, lesson plans, branding, and designs on this Site are the intellectual property of Sugar Butter Bakes. Unauthorized reproduction, resale, distribution, or modification is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Sugar Butter Bakes is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of our products or website, including but not limited to kitchen accidents, misuse of materials, or reliance on educational content.

  • Participation in baking activities is voluntary and at your own risk.

  • Sugar Butter Bakes makes no guarantees of outcomes, results, or success beyond providing clear instructions and resources.

7. No Guarantees or Warranties

  • All products are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

  • We do not guarantee that our Site, products, or downloads will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

8. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Digital downloads: All sales are final.

  • Bakery products: Due to the nature of food items, no refunds are issued after pickup/delivery. Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of order placement.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be resolved under Texas jurisdiction.
